Sunday

What stood out to you from today’s sermon? What teaching can you apply this week? What Reflections did you apply last week?

MondayReflect

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

John 1:12-13

What does being a child of God mean to you?

TuesdayReflect

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ….. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39

How does this verse give you confidence to face your days?

WednesdayReflect

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

What are your current burdens? Where is true rest found?

Thursday

Reflect on what you are thankful for today.

Write your thoughts.

FridayReflect

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16

What does it mean that you are the light of the world?

Saturday

Reflect on how God can use you to be a “pleasing aroma” to others this week.
